Year 2 Insights: Full-Service Community Schools Grant

At Pittsburgh Area Community Schools (PACS), we are committed to ensuring that every student has the resources and support they need to succeed. As part of our 5-year Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) initiative, we’ve made significant progress in Year 2 by focusing on improving student attendance, enhancing family engagement, and creating a positive school climate.

This initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, is a 5-year commitment (2023-2028) aimed at transforming schools into comprehensive hubs of support for students, families, and the wider community. With the help of Child Trends, we’ve gathered valuable data to refine our approach and expand our services, ensuring long-term impact.
