Rhythm and Culture: African Drumming at Sto-Rox

PACS is proud to coordinate and bring cultural learning opportunities like this to the Sto-Rox School District, ensuring students experience meaningful and enriching afterschool programming.

Every Thursday, the halls come alive with the vibrant sounds of African drumming! This afterschool program is more than just musicโ€”itโ€™s a journey into African heritage, culture, and tradition. With every beat, students not only learn to play the drums but also discover the deep cultural significance of each instrument.

The program is divided by grade level:
๐Ÿช˜ Primary students: 3:30 โ€“ 4:15 PM
๐Ÿช˜ Upper students: 4:30 โ€“ 5:15 PM

Each session fosters rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression, helping students build confidence while immersing themselves in a cultural art form that spans generations.

๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŒ Join the rhythm of Thursdays at Sto-Rox and see how music connects us all!
