Building Kinder, Stronger Communities Across the Greater Pittsburgh Region

At Pittsburgh Area Community Schools, we believe that kindness and community go hand in hand. Through our programs and partnerships across multiple communities in the Greater Pittsburgh Region, we’re creating opportunities for students and families to feel seen, supported, and empowered.

World Kindness Day: Celebrating Kindness Together

This World Kindness Day, we’re reflecting on the success of our collective kindness efforts and the impact we see each day. In each of the communities we serve, small, everyday acts of kindness are helping our students, families, and educators feel valued and connected. By providing and connecting families and students to essentials like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies, we’ve been able to support families in need while strengthening bonds across the region.

Our Mission in Action

This commitment to kindness is part of PACS’s broader mission to bridge gaps between students, families, schools, and resources throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Region. Every resource and every act of compassion helps foster a positive school environment and builds the foundation for students’ success—both academically and personally.

Join Us in Spreading Kindness

We invite everyone to join PACS in creating a brighter future for our students and community. Together, we can keep building kinder, more inclusive communities, one small act at a time. From volunteering to attending PACS events, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.

Because at PACS, every act of kindness—no matter how small—makes a lasting impact.
