Even before the current crisis, our world was becoming increasingly digital each year. With the digital divide becoming even greater now, technological prowess is more vital than ever. Studies show that skills in technology will be essential for 7 out of 10 new jobs in Pennsylvania in the coming years.Neighborhood Allies hopes to address the skills gap in technology for Pittsburgh communities in need. They have partnered with a number of educational partners and Verizon to launch Level Up 412. Level up 412 offers 19 different FREE online classes for both youth and adults. Classes include topic such as Intro to Microsoft Office Suite, Robotics, and Game Design Workshops.Space is limited. First course deadline is October 15th. Sign up Online.
