We are proud to announce that Dollar Bank has chosen CISPAC as its nonprofit partner for the month of October with WPXI 11 Cares.COVID-19 has presented new challenges for many families across the Pittsburgh region as they adjust to living, working, and learning all under one roof. CISPAC is partnering with Dollar Bank and WPXI 11 Cares to ensure students have the tools necessary to succeed and thrive while learning remotely. Students with special needs, children without a stable home environment, and youth from many black and brown neighborhoods are disproportionately affected.“Dollar Bank is proud to partner with Communities in Schools to provide virtual learning support for Pittsburgh students,” Frank Buonomo, VP of Public Affairs at Dollar Bank says. “It’s important that all students have equal resources to support their educational needs.”We are uniquely situated to tackle the most pressing obstacles to student achievement, whether we are connecting families with crucial resources or supporting teachers as they move to virtual learning. CISPAC breaks down barriers to learning every single day, and the challenges posed by COVID-19, are no exception. Together we can overcome this pandemic and secure a bright future for our children.Join us in partnering with Dollar Bank and WPXI 11 Cares to ensure equal access to education resources for all our Pittsburgh learners. With your help, we can help every child reach their potential.Free [a] child’s potential, and you will transform…the world.”– Maria Montessori
