CISPAC Offices Open Again!

The administrative offices for Communities In Schools, Pittsburgh – Allegheny County have reopened, as of, Monday, June 8, 2020. Our first priority is the health of our staff and those we serve. For that reason, we have implemented procedures to help reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 that follow guidance put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. All CISPAC employees and volunteers are required to follow these procedures when entering or working in the administrative offices.Beginning on 6/8/2020 and until further notice, we have limited the number of staff working together at our administrative offices to six (6) at a time. Staff who typically operated remotely before the shutdown may continue to do so. All staff now book their office hours on the COVID-19 Calendar.CISPAC operations within school sites and on school property will not commence until the school district makes the determination that they will open. Until that time, CISPAC will deliver all programs, groups, student, and family interactions via online platforms. When we can resume face-to-face delivery of our programs and, services we will follow the procedures in line with recommendations from the PA Department of Health and the CDC.Employees, program participants and volunteers MUST NOT report to work while they are experiencing potential COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or persistent pain or pressure in the chest. Individuals experiencing these symptoms should consult their medical provider and/or seek medical attention immediately.###
