3 New School Districts Join with CISPAC to Promote Student Success

This year, CISPAC heads into the Mon Valley as it begins work with the Duquesne, East Allegheny and West Mifflin school districts. These neighboring districts are working together to help Duquesne graduating 6th graders, successfully matriculate into high school at East Allegheny or West Mifflin.

“We’re excited about working together with 3-school districts collectively as a cohort to build up those community’s ability to support their students” said, Bridget Clement, CISPAC’s Executive Director. Collective impact planning that leads to executing initiatives across a region rather than just one school district, is absolutely a trend we’d like to see continue. “There is so much we can accomplish by working together to address collective needs, that seem impossible to do when working in isolation” said, Clement.

Other school districts contracted with CISPAC for this school year include: Pittsburgh Public’s Arsenal and Sto-Rox. Additionally, we will continue providing mentoring services to Pittsburgh’s Northside middle schools:  Allegheny Traditional, Manchester, Manchester Charter, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rooney Pittsburgh Public Schools.
