Bringing Thanksgiving to Families: PACS at the Sto-Rox Community Dinner

Last week, the PACS team partnered with Salem’s Market and Grill to bring holiday joy to families at the Sto-Rox Community Dinner. The evening was filled with community, connection, and Thanksgiving spirit as we came together to make a positive impact.

Thanks to this partnership, PACS distributed over 70 turkeys, along with Thanksgiving sides, Giant Eagle gift cards, and hygiene bags to families in the community. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in raffles, where they won gift cards and beautiful holiday wreaths, spreading extra cheer for the season.

Beyond the giveaways, the evening offered a chance for PACS to engage with families and students, highlighting opportunities for growth and enrichment. PACS staff registered families for the Jr/Sr High School after-school clubs, which are set to launch in January 2025. These clubs will provide students with fun and educational activities designed to foster learning and build connections outside the classroom.

The success of the Sto-Rox Community Dinner wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Salem’s Market and Grill and the collaborative efforts of the PACS team. Events like these reflect our commitment to bridging gaps and creating opportunities that strengthen families and students in our community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event memorable. Together, we are building stronger communities, one family at a time.
